How are you getting on with the bread maker?

Just had a maple tempeh and tatty scone sandwich.

Got a lot of cabbage to use. So any suggestions on that front would be welcome. But maybe make a big stew

Quorn roast for lunch. Never had it before, not convinced it is going to work without gravy tbh

Might do something with eggs for tea if I have the energy.

Why no gravy?

Because it is disgusting

Flare up of my ulcerative colitis = can’t be arsed with prep = an Aunt Bessie special.

Update: Cottage

Well I’ve got no pleasant reply to that

Hello!! We had avocado on toast (sourdough the tv made! It’s amazing, he’s doing such a great job) with bacon and fried eggs. Just awaiting my coffee now

It tastes of liquid cow (even the veggie ones), just don’t get on that personally.

Fair enough, my friend :slightly_smiling_face:

We’ve only made the one loaf so far, just a basic farmhouse bread the loaf was really tall though which made it quite difficult to slice! Had bread and butter for breakfast yesterday, the crust was chewy and inside was soft :yum:
Toasted some for garlic bread with dinner :yum:
Might have some more toast later for supper!

It will work if you have pickles or something saucy to put on it. It can be a bit dry maybe cauli cheese or something on the side would help??

Hope the flare up dies down and you feel better, soon.
I used to eat Aunt Bessie’s roast potatoes lots when I lived alone in London, they are pretty good tbh!
