Made a cherry tomato sauce, had with pasta, halloumi and fake chicken. Very good.

Now got a Sunday wine and some Tyrrell crisps.

  • Keep dipping your leftover roasties into the gravy until they’re all gone, you can make more tomorrow :wink:
  • Save them even though they won’t be as good tomo as fresh :roll_eyes:

I don’t think I’ve ever had (or been) toad in the hole. Is the pastry dry or does it have that gooey bit?

Yeah I had a huge internal conflict over where to put it, kept me awake for seconds
