Gnome out did herself with Gnome’s Country Fried Potatoes today. She’d popped to Lidl to look for chocolate on Friday, apparently they were out of chocolate, so instead she got a cheese and onion quiche, so we had that. We then realised beans would be missing from the plate if I didn’t run to the Turkish shop at the end of the road, so in a rare outside jaunt for my house slacks, I nipped off, returning with a big jar of Crystal hot sauce and too bags of roasted corn. Obviously, gnome had cheesy beans and I spiced mine with a bit of curry powder, turmeric, cumin, cayenne, curry leaves and methi. Delicious.
