Good greetings for the Bank Holiday!
What’s being served in your house? Anyone going out for brunch or dinner?
Have a scrumptious Sunday (and Monday because it is a Bank Holiday and I would like to see and hear about what you’re eating tomorrow as well), friends 
I am in Exeter visiting friends. One of my friends works at a bakery so they have loads of nice bread in the house. And she wants to show us the bakery later so I do think I can be quite confident that coffee and cake is back on the menu, boys!
Might get up and make us some coffee and toast in a minute but I very much haven’t had enough sleep yet so I’m holding out a bit longer.
I was meant to be going to an all dayer at the uni but I’m still unwell so going to make a cheesy Leek pasta bake I think

At work but somebody very thoughtfully had a birthday on Friday.
Desk cake for breakfast this morning 
I’m having a BBQ (despite forecast of rain) so am currently marinading these big mushrooms in a mix of sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha and maple syrup.
I also have some veg and tofu marinading in garlic, herbs and lemon juice (and lots of olive oil and salt and pepper), new potatoes ready to smother with vegan mayo, spring onions and chives, asparagus to grill and toss with lemon, salt and butter, padron peppers and Moving Mountains burgs and hot dogs ready to go AND YET someone still messaged me to ask if it was ok for them to bring some meat 
Eating my feelings today so having a cocktail sausage baguette, crumpets and crisps for lunch. Gonna make spicy beef nachos for tea.
Had a French dip for lunch (save it for Thursday, etc)
Wife had chicken tacos
And some nachos between us
2 rounds of ham and English mustard sarnies, habanero hot crisps and a cookie for afters
Afternoon tea was lovely!! got endless types of tea and coffee and as many sandwiches as our hearts desired.
Got a wee extra fondant fancy for it being the day of my birth too (tomorrow)
