Sunday Dinner Thread on Sunday 03-11-2019 ๐ŸŒ‹๐Ÿ–๏ธ

Greetings friends!
I am on holiday with Avery.
It cost us ยฃ100 to do all inclusive so, promising ourselves weโ€™d still go out to eat some days/nights (cos eating lots of different delicious food is one of my top favourite parts of most things, including holidays) and weโ€™d get our moneys worth in booze, weโ€™re doing all inclusive for the first time.
Think Iโ€™ll have a cheese omelette, salad and fries for lunch. Saw someone with a pizza yesterday and it looked so bad I almost wept for them.

  • Buffet
  • ร€ la carte
  • Mix of both (Hannah Montana style, obviously the best)

What are you having today?
Cooking? Going out? Being cooked for by a loved one?

Hi! Hope youโ€™re having fun! No idea about lunch but for dinner weโ€™re going to my mum and dadโ€™s for roast beef, mainly happy about this cause it means a day off from cooking :grinning:

Feeling a bit bleh from being ill/not exercising over the last couple of weeks so Iโ€™m currently very torn between at least attempting to be a bit healthy this week and eating cake for breakfast+frites for lunch every day.
:thinking::sweat:

This kind of this is what I love about all inclusive.

Slack off this week, back to it when youโ€™re home x

Need lunch, have no lunch. Tea is leek and mushroom risotto and apple pie for afters

Yeah absolutely no point having to check yourself when youโ€™re on holiday.

Maybe just think that if you keep relatively healthy at breakfast and lunch and then have a big summer blowout at dinner

Mmmm. Definitely need to make dauphinouse potatoes again soon, havenโ€™t done that for ages.
Also Iโ€™ve never made rice pudding! I used to love when my mum made it. Gonna add RP to the to make list too!

Whatโ€™s in that bad boy?

โ€œHoliday eats? Always avec fritesโ€ , thatโ€™s what I say.

Really want a kofte and frites baguette like they do in Morocco.

Just put some salted beef in the oven too as it needs cooking.

Tried to go to the gym but itโ€™s closed at weekends  did a hilly walk and went up and down a stair mountain twice, instead.
Time for frites!

Had some empanadas from the Newcastle food market, it was intense how good they were. Saw James Acaster getting some Bao buns too, good times.
