We just had a bit of a moment. We were driving back up to Amman and at some point the road we were on just stopped. Roadworks everywhere, nowhere to get past despite the fact we could see the road continuing up ahead. We took a detour and got past that bit, but were confronted with another part exactly the same. Tractors everywhere, no way through. Consulted Google maps for a bit and saw a route we could take, we just needed to get back to where we took the original detour. So we drove back… And they’d blocked that road too!
Ended up speaking to a construction worker who told us to follow him. He drove to his mate in a digger and we went in convoy to the blockage and the digger fucked it up and made room for us to drive through
