Is that a difficult recipe?

Shouldn’t have thought so not used those beans before, but I’d imagine it’s just a case of cooking enough flavour (stock, herbs and maybe some spice, deoending) into the beans with your basic veg like onions garlic carrots etc then topping with mash. Maybe add flour to make a thicker gravy with the beans and an egg yolk to the mash, can’t remember why, but it’s good. Oooh and mustard in the mash too.

About to have my first meal of the day, whatever younwant to call it. Making an omelette, but didn’t have any butter or oil left so it’s all oven baking. Have put omelettes in the oven for a minute or two at the end before, but never only oven so I’m hoping it’ll turn out alright…

With a roast i would have broccoli and carrots usually. The problem i have with green beans, runner beans etc, is that when you’re cooking them they go straight from raw and inedible to overcooked, brown, soggy and inedible without passing through perfectly cooked. The ones in @anon19035908’s picture there look nice but they’re still green so maybe they’d still be raw to my tastes

They were quite crunchy but we like them that way, totally agree that it’s hard to get them right if you like them a bit softer but not mushy! Broccoli is the #1 vegetable, obvs.

FYI haterz - we are having roast beef etc and I have seen the onion rings go in the oven

In no way an excessive amount of cheeses.

I would say an insufficient amount of cheese, as I can see what’s under it.

Cheese has lots of calcium and is therefore a healthy food. qed.

Ur doin it wrong
I’ve never cooked mushy green beans.
Even when we cooked a roast with my.sister in America and used frozen green beans which I was highly dubious about, they turned out great!

Eggs and bacon on sour dough at 11am. Followed by a gin & tonic at 12.30. Followed by four pints of ale at the local boozer. Can’t go in there without being encouraged to stay for ‘one more’. Now I wait and see what Clive will cook for me.
