It has some kind of Pavlovian effect on me though. I never ever crave or even think about popcorn but when I smell it or see a popcorn stall, I’m knocking folk out the way to get to it. Same with the smell of candy floss. I ate so much of that crap yesterday (at a children’s fairground).

I’ve been meaning to make popcorn for about a week now, and I just keep forgetting to do it until I’m already too hungry and end up having toast. Must do popcorn tomorrow.

Again, yes, but she’s on a 0.8 contract (4 days pw) so we lose a fifth of her FT earnings straight away

Another 18mths and I don’t think we can stay here that long. It’s hard enough as it is.

That sounds really stressful, I’m sorry. Is there another area you can move to that is cheaper but still commutable for you both? Sorry, I’m sure you’ve already considered this. It does get easier when the subsidised childcare kicks in but I know that must feel like a long way away still xx
