I don’t think I can actually carve it there due to covid so it’s just walk in a field of pumpkins and pick out a pumpkin. Apparently it’s very popular, due to Instagram I imagine??

Our boiler has broken so we have no hot water or heating.
Going to football now where we are inexplicably playing a weaker team to give people game time against a side 3 divisions above us so I imagine when I come home later having frozen and lost about 10-0 I’ll really enjoy my cold shower

I didn’t even know pumpkins were grown in the U.K.

Pumpkin seeds are great, pumpkin carving is fun, pumpkin anything else is awful.

That sounds rather miserable.

I think they grow quite well here? Like a squash or something

I don’t want to eat a pumpkin tho

My dislike of pumpkin is one of the reasons my mother called me a changeling.

I have not! I did know about turnip and rutabaga carving, though I’ve never seen it done.

My earliest memory of Halloween is trying to carve a lantern out of a rock-hard swede

Hi everyone.

We’ve got a ATD coming round to chill in the garden with his kids - including a new baby I’ve yet to meet who was born during lockdown. She is fucking 8 months old. Unreal. I’ve already bought her a pikachu so that’s good.

Well be in the garden drinking teas and freezing our arses off because of the rules. No breaking them here.

Went to Rouken Glen Park on Friday and it was a pure stunner.

Also, more importantly it is THANKSGIVING! :canada::canada::canada: Huge ham roast tonight with all the shit and a raft of tasty treats. Sadly could find pumpkin mix so unless Amazon sort us out it’ll be without.

Hapoy Thanksgiving everyone, I’m thankful for you all and the discussions we have on here.
