My boss did Dry January- or at least I think he did. I’ll have to ask him if he managed it!

Personally I think that the winter is the wrong time to give something up (unless it’s out of absolute necessity). Lent isn’t so bad: pancake day is some time in early March, by which time Winters I and II are history! The downside is that it’s 40 days compared with February’s 28/29 days.

Had a tour this morning then stuck around in town for the Chinese New Year parade. It was packed, thought I was going to get crushed at one point. Just had some mates round and I’m considering going to bed really early because some new pillows have arrived and I can not wait to test them out.
