Have been watching an international hockey tournament that’s being played out in India at the moment. The German men’s team caught serious ‘Delhi belly’ and instead of using the normal 7 rolling subs they ended up with only 1/2 and were forced to play their reserve goalkeeper upfront. He only just went and scored in the bronze medal match - this was my number 1 dream when I used to play in goal.
No snow. Cold and blanketed. A fairly old simpsons is on one of the channel fours though.
I went for a mega long walk around the lake nearby, which is freezing over. Saw a load of herons. Then I bought some candles and having got home just realised that half of them are outdoor candles. Dammit.
Had a fry earlier but I’m backsliding into a hangover now. Will listen to side two of Bullhead by the Melvins and then I’ll go for a walk.
Just finished a tour, was meant to be going to a gospel choir thing at 3 but I CBA waiting in town in the cool until then and not enough time to go home and come back. So just going home for cake instead
Boo. Schools are closed here tomorrow - that’s a 4 day weekend for Mrs Fox after they sent her home on Friday cos of the snow.

Just remembered I drunkenly added someone I fancy and see in the pub sometimes, but have never ever actually spoken to, but they just accepted so this is no longer a stupid and embarrassing thing to have happened.
Feeling pretty rough. Weekly shop done, bought the final part of my mum’s Christmas present, and picked up a few classic DVDs to watch. Productive day. TV is gonna make lasagne and we’re watching the mask.
