People are absolute shits about this sort of thing though. We’ve never had a proper no show for either of our daughters’ parties but we’ve regularly had kids (and their parents) just not bothering to reply to the invite and not turning up.

Being a parent seems really hard

was doing a guitar jam with rufflad. sposed to get up and go for a run at 6:30 tomorrow before work  hmmm that might not happen.

Yeah sometimes it is.

Like you have to be two or more people at any one time it seems. Real miraculous that anyone manages it

Guys I wimped out of the potential pizza catastrophe and got a wrap and chicken strippers instead. It was good but was no pizza.

feelin’ a bit  idk why

I think it’s the transition phase (when the kid is really young) that’s the toughest. Getting used to the weight of responsibility, the tiredness, the lack of money and time… it takes a lot of adjustment. But I reckon I’m quite well used to parenthood by now, plus the girls are older and more independent and so it’s not relentlessly exhausting. I really enjoy it now

i was going to point out that chickens don’t actually have lips but once you start looking at the anatomical inaccuracies it’s hard to know where to stop

ah love this song

That made me laugh but:

  1. the chickens not actually stripping
  2. someone actually spent time making that :open_mouth:

Cartoons probably aren’t the places to start for anatomical accuracy tbf
