Going to do a daily thread for each day of the THREE DAY world championships in September. Gossip, predictions, running commentary of the matches, the lot.

Took 11 hours but finally got rid of the shed. Was on nodding terms with the guy at the tip by the end of the day. Made a little makeshift patio where the shed was.

Evening guys. I’ve been solo parenting all day, and I can finally put my feet up and relax. I’ve:

  • taken Jimbo to see the sheep in a country park
  • dealt with a toddler trying to “help” when the online supermarket shop arrived
  • successfully fed him lunch where he ate everything on the plate
  • went to his swimming lesson without any tears or tantrums
  • spent much longer than I’d planned at the playground
  • had a barbecue for dinner
  • only had one major meltdown before bedtime (which I’ll let him off for, since he didn’t nap today, so was completely knackered)

Time for me to put my feet up now.

hi gang

pretty knackered. have spent all day running after my 10 month old nephew and trying to stop him pulling my beard. no idea how parents handle this shit day in day out. he’s a cute little bastard though.
