It was a really good episode about love always ending in tragedy except, of course, for Marge and Homer. It was quite moving at the end and to tell you the truth my eyes were a bit damp.

As predicted no work has happened today. Just waiting to watch football at 3. The bairn is full of beans and I think I’m coming to the horrifying revelation that his afternoon nap is a thing of the past - how am I meant to make it through an entire day of parenting without being able to have a mini snooze/short session on vidya games.

I’ve been in pyjamas so far all day and don’t see that changing. Playing Pokemon with football in the background at the moment.

I had my oldest friend, his brother and his daughter (my goddaughter) over for dinner last night which was nice but they are also all very High energy and chaotic so feel kind of drained today.
