Any plans?
Morning. Just been for breakfast. Going to head into town in an hour to get a few things before the storms come in. Housework after that I think. A day of boring but necessary stuff, unfortunately.
I ache. (Went over the handlebars on bike yesterday)Bacon for brek.
Tea and Sunday brunch.
Picnic this afternoon.

Heading to the coast for the third consecutive day. Classic dad behaviour :getting us all out of the house to miss the traffic even if it’s not “beach warm” yet.

I got up early to do some work. Going to start actually doing it any minute now.

Just had my porridge. Starting to think about considering going to get changed to take the dog for a walk.
Said I’d wash the wife’s car but the drive is in the sun until midday, so that’s my excuse to wriggle out of that…
Working 3.30 til midnight. Hope we get the thunderstorms that have been promised.
Think I might be coming down with something. Don’t think I’m gonna make it, reckon I’m done for this time, I can see the door from here, seems unlikely I’ll see out the morning, and on this, my American birthday, of all days.

In from a pretty warm 10 mile run. Loads of chores, might watch the women’s FA Cup final, and figure out what to do when I’m in Bristol for a half marathon next weekend. Definitely going to make terrible decisions in Specialist Subject Records, might go to Left Handed Giant after the race.
I’ve just had breakfast.
Wor Lass is taking The Child out for a playdate so I’m going to clear the grocery list before we have to take her back again for cheerleading.
Tidying ALL day. But first…a chai.

Think I’ll go to the Singapore cafe for breakfast
Finish my book, do a wash, try to buy Brainwyrms, get a massage. Maybe more tbc
Any minute now.
Going to get my bike out and give it the “once over*” I’ve been saying I’ll do for months.
- Put it on the stand and spin the wheels a bit. Reinflate tyres.

Did that thing where I got enthused about rearranging some of the living room for about an hour, lost interest and now we need to go out so it’ll probably be a mess for a few weeks now 
Off to take kiddo to the lido, excited to get my pasty flesh out in the sun.

Morning!
We’ve got a washing machine and tumble drier being delivered. They gave us a window of 11-3, but apparently they’re on delivery number 9 already, and ours is number 11. Looks like we might be able to go out and enjoy the weather.
It’s also our 14th anniversary today. We’ve booked a babysitter, but haven’t booked anywhere to go for dinner yet

Also, isn’t weird how people celebrate their anniversary from when they were married rather than when they started going out?

No plans beyond the minimum of work and a trip to b and q to get some paint samples, chicken wire, wood chipping and of course more plants
Might do fajita for dinner
