Should probably get up and do some breakfast but I’m still in bed, hiding from the wind and rain. Sounds utterly miserable out there.

Everyone still in bed so I’ve enjoyed an hour to myself and a cup of coffee.
Scratch that, everyone woke up as soon as I was writing.
Two lots of friends visiting the newish baby today. Would prefer a quiet one but it’ll be nice and we’ve got some fancy cake in for the occasion.
Watching The Conversation in the calm before the storm of a dozen 7 year olds invading my house later. Halp me. Pray for me.
Had a really intense work dream last night, lost in the building and couldn’t find my way back to where i wanted to be, which is a sure sign that my stress levels are building.

Alright. Got a beef stew on the go to throw into the slow cooker. Smelling great.
Listening to The War On Drugs and have a fresh brewed cuppa next to me. About to grab some brekkie.
Taking my son to his best friends 4th birthday party in a soft play later. Really can’t be arsed with that.

I was meant to be going to watch a surf competition today, but it’s too windy so the competition is cancelled. Might go and take my camera out to see if there’s any surfers out anyway, because although it’s strong, the wind is actually coming from the right direction for a change
Saw a few surfers at West Wittering this week which was nice. 2-3ft left break with an offshore to hold it up a little. Right swell direction and good wind. Was great to watch them.

Had a bit of a lie in (7am) and going to get some coffee, eat some pizza and celebrate a 2nd birthday. Probably need to do a bit of work later, but that’s gonna be hard.
Still in bed. Should get up but my god it sounds awful out there. Had planned to go up to Clifton this morning to see if I could find some tat for my mums Xmas present, but that is looking like a terrible idea. Staying in and watching the new BFI restoration of The Seven Samurai seems much wiser. Then I’m out to see Cassandra Jenkins tonight, assuming the venue doesn’t blow down.

In from a very windy, very difficult but pretty satisfying 21km run. Something nice about being in the elements. Quick wash then out to meet some mates for brunch, and then chores. Might start watching Say Nothing later.

Woken at 4am by railway being strimmed. Bit annoying although not as annoying as having to do the strimming presumably.
Managed to rub avocado in my eye which I have a mild allergy to which was also a bit annoying.
Have to do some fairly dull music related stuff today, but that’s fine.
Very wet here. Very wet.
Sounds like the apocalypse out there, but I guess at least it isn’t raining and it’ll bring the last of the leaves down off the trees in the garden
First hangover in many months. Possibly a year? Feel wiped but it’s not too bad and had a really fun night so not complaining.
CHE v MNU on YT then family roast then might take a niece or two to see Wicked.

Didn’t leave the house yesterday and the weather is still looking apocalyptic, but it’s at least dry for now. Going to wander up to the shop before the rain starts. I’ve got Cheekster 2 in tow as Cheekster 1 is at a drama rehearsal (and Mrs CCB has ferried her there).
Burgers and chips for dinner later.
