There is a bit in there that annoyed me though about basically how it’s better to be poor here cause there’s nice scenery. I have to constantly budget and watch every penny but who cares cause there’s a beach! FO, M (them, not you JP)

Yeah I’m sure it is better to have less money in a pretty, green place than stuck in the middle of somewhere very industrial - but it’s not an actual positive, just a slight improvement on a difficult situation. Slightly rose-tinted article for sure then.

Yeah absolutely, I was just meaning that I can see the article’s point that easy access to countryside is better than no access to countryside, all other factors being equal. It’s just that those factors will never be equal, so it’s a pretty redundant thing to say.

Had some chilli for tea last night and, without wanting to be too crude, my ass is on fire to the point that i might have to call in sick. Genuinely might just smear a load of yoghurt on it or something.

Pretty sure, no. I just finished the pack I bought when I couldn’t find them last time. But I did find them midway through eating the replacement pack, so I’m certain they exist.
