Up early for the shopping delivery.
Wife’s off to the gym. Was going to go a bike ride but it’s raining just for a change. Maybe a quick soggy dog walk instead.

Couldn’t sleep last night and woke up at 6 with a ratty kid. Today is gonna suck. Last day off before I start my new job, so a weird day in store I think.
Made some pancake batter, so gonna have some when my wife gets back from the gym. Maybe go for a walk. Bangers and mash for tea.

Morning all!
I had an absolutely lovely sleep last night and The Child didn’t wake me up until 8.00.
We’ve got a birthday party later and then an evening of dread because I’m back at work tomorrow.

Last day off work and had my first work dream last night which isn’t bad going, normally have loads in the run up to a return from any lengthy break.
Dread isn’t too bad but I’ve got a pile of work to get through in the weeks ahead.

Had an early morning 6am dog vomit to clean. Back to sleep until about now though
Going to my mum’s for tea and cake then it’s lounging about not thinking about work.
Might book a spa for next weekend as a treat

Discovered that a £15 computer game purchased during lockdown one that I barely touched is now going for £200 on eBay. Inspired by this I’ve been going round the house looking up other things out of curiosity - somehow the Minidisc copy of a Garbage album I bought for £3 in 2002 goes for hundreds too.
Today’s task - become an eBay multimillionaire.
But first - shower, walk with a coffee and an almond croissant, general tidying up.
