By jove it’s been a while since I started one of these.
So I got up early so I could spend some time with by goose buddies in Roath Park. It’s been a while.
I did some field recording while I was there. Or at least I thought I did. It turns out during that perfect 15 minute period - where little daschund’s came trotting by and the geese had a quiet honking chat between themselves and the hiss of bus hydraulics came rolling by and a nice old lady pottered along while playing an audiobook in what I think was Mandarin out of a speaker in her bag - I wasn’t recording didlly squat. Decided to make myself late for work trying a second recording. Priorities.

I’m currently at Kings College Hospital to see a endodontist about my root canal infections.
Appointment is not to 9, but I got all my connections so in ridiculously early. Left home at 645.

Really nervous as starting on a new freelance job today (and not feeling very up to speed

I like the idea of multiple daily threads. We can be relaxed about choosing one and letting the parallel universe ease gently out of sync.

Glorious blue skies and sun here too.
Dog has been walked. Going to have a shower, have some beans on toast and then head in to work. The sun is tempting me towards cycling in despite the forecast for later - can always get the train home…

Just bought some strawberries, first walk outside after 4 days in bed with covid.
I appreciate the enthusiasm but sometimes you just have to concede graciously.
I’m proud of the campaign the geese and I ran. I think the ideas we brought forward sparked some important conversations. But the people of community.drownedinsound.com have spoken and it’s time to us to unite and move forward.
You could also make this an exclusive daily thread. Like have a password or a bouncer or a red cord or something.
This is not the fight I had hoped to see.
