Like most people I’m in the “Seattle should really win but there’s a concerning team of destiny stench around the Patriots” camp.
What makes me a bit more confident in the Seahawks is that New England’s offence has looked largely quite bad when they’ve had to play teams with actual functioning defences. Their offence only managed 16 points against the Chargers (who have literally no offence), 21 against the Texans (who turned the ball over five times) and could only manage a touchdown against Denver when Jarrett Stidham handed them the ball at the 10 yard line.
Main hope is for a watchable game but think it’s entirely possible that Seattle are out of sight by half time.

taken monday off but will just be watching it at home with my dad this year to save money (it’s normally my most expensive night out of the year!)
echo most of the above. didn’t really like the seahawks team that won last time despite the legion of boom because russ is an absolute tool, but as a jets fan it’s hard not to root for darnold.

Think I’m coming round to Seattle, and it not being very close. There’s obviously the Patriots of it all, and you can imagine a Darnold meltdown, but overall they just ought to be comfortably the better team, clearly on offense, marginally on defense, and pretty clearly on special teams. Going to lump on a full slate of Seahawks bets I think
