Supermarket Products (non-generic) that are rarely on offer

petrol

You can sometimes get spend £80 in store and we will give you an 8p off a litre voucher.

Kikkoman’s Soy Sauce

don’t think i’ve spent £80 in a supermarket in my life

hands down the best soy sauce

I had a Shell reward card a while ago where you got a £5 voucher every so often. Of course, you’d save much more than a fiver per whatever quantity of fuel it was by just filling up at a Supermarket instead…

pick n mix (branded)

are they hollow though? like airy and powdery in consistency when you bite into one?

good anecdote

Thanks. Thought you’d appreciate it.

As an oligarch I’m not bothered about products being “on offer”.

Oi saps, I booked a place in Aylsham for me holidays.

Nah they’re solid mate, the holes are there to prevent you breaking your teeth on them tbf. Best thing about them is the coating which prevents them from going mushy and horrible for longer than with any other cereal I’ve experienced.

Thank you for the clarification.

Not a problem, I would give them my wholehearted recommendation if you ever happen to see them on offer (which you won’t because they’re never on offer)

I like Aylsham, I picked up a copy of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective in a charity shop there - great condition.

Stick that in your pipe @Epimer

Blickling Hall is a stone’s throw from there, nice grounds and the hall itself is worth a gander. You can dress the boy up in olde worlde clobber, he’ll love it. Or hate it, one or the other.

Also you can get yourself a photo taken outside The Black Boys Hotel, you know for shabs/bants
. http://www.blackboyshotel.co.uk/

I recently purchased a pack of 12 Duracell AA batteries in Sainsbos on offer for £6.66 which was 34p cheaper than an 8 pack. Not sure if the offer is still on though, or available in your area.

why do you think i didn’t list the 12 pack?
