Might be there for a few hours or an entire afternoon on Monday before heading to Cardiff.
Where’s nice to kill time in terms of shops, coffee/cafes and parks?
Cheers

Oh and there any nice coastal towns/areas between Swansea and Cardiff which are worth stopping at for a few hours or so?
Just to the west of Swansea is where the coastline gets nice, in the Gower.
Stay away from Port Talbot, it’s all industrial around there.
Porthcawl is ok, got those “people used to go on holidays in the UK in the 1970s” vibes. Coney Island fair has particularly good horror-movie vibes. Rest Bay is pretty nice though.
Ogmore-by-sea and Southerndown are nice, picturesque roads around that stretch too.
Dunno about Llantwit Major and all that down there, never really went out that way.
Barry Island is OK too I think, though it’s been a long time since I’ve been there.
Thanks for this.
Had considered Barry as it’s not far from Cardiff.
Mumbles. Have a walk on the beach and an ice cream from Joe’s
Sorry, I didn’t quite catch that. Can you speak up?
I prefer the rest of the Gower personally, Mumbles is a good place for those who cba to go any further.
Agreed. For a quick visit it’s good but you can’t beat Oxwich Bay, Rhosilli, Caswell Bay, Langland…
Recommendations for a nice place to eat dinner (max £25) please ![]()
And any must see places that won’t take longer than an hour or two
Founders&co on Wind street
Looks perfect, thanks!
good for finding fossils on the beach, if you’re into that
Got to visit Beerriff microbrewery in the marina, too.
