I loved this so much and laughed more than the whole latest season!
Some of the jokes Greg made at the start were clearly written by someone else?? Like about how he can’t feel anything down there meaning his knob?! By someone else I mean it feels like it’s a different team from the Dave team/jokes?
Shirley was on sewing bee but wasn’t much of a laugh whereas on here she was great.
Can Rylan be on every week?
Don’t get why everyone on here is so down on the last series? Watching all of this in a huge binge for the first time having missed it on Dave and it’s easily as good as many of the older runs in my eyes?
The one off was fun too, but not a patch on the proper show.

New Year’s one was much better than the full C4 series. A shame. Very good dynamic.
Kind of wish they’d saved Nicola Coughlan for one of the full series, she was great. Rylan and Shirley would have been way too much over the course of a full one though and Krishnan probably would have been a bit too boring.

yeah given that they’ve got sitcom actresses like Katherine Parkinson and Charlotte Ritchie on recently it’s surprising they didn’t get Nicola in for a full series, maybe she was just too busy.
agree with this, it was a fun one off and much better than i was expecting but slightly ‘wacky’ celebs would end up up being a bit much for 10 episodes.
John Hannah would be good for a full series but he’s far too famous for it obviously
there’s a really good bonus episode to the podcast looking back over series 10 with Greg btw, had me suppressing a lot of laughs on my walk the other day
Yeah, she’s definitely got enough comedy chops to be in a standard series rather than a special. She’s in that new Netflix thing though that seems to be big budget and prominence, so as you say it might just be that she hasn’t got the time for it.
Her “beauty and brains and old chump in the middle” comment was absolutely hilarious, was chuckling for a good minute or so after that.

Stuff of nightmares
I thought the last series was pretty good, I’m not sure why a lot of people were so down on it. The lack of audience and distancing did make it weird, and it probably took some of the camaraderie away. But all the contestants were decent and it was still really funny.
Katherine - chaotically bad at everything - 5/5, think she’s an all-timer tbh
Vegas - Chaotic, flailing, entertaining - 5/5
Daisy - Genuinely seems like an oddball (in a good way), liked her inconsistency, her laugh is brilliant and her losing it at Richard when she was drawing the hippo was probably moment of the series - 4/5
Mawaan - Thought he was gonna be funnier tbh after the first couple when he was great, was still fine and was good in the studio - 3.5/5
Herring - A bit boring, but fine 3/5
Really enjoyed the last series but I think I’ve had too much of it lately. Wonder if it’s cos of all the bloody ad breaks, I get distracted and wander off or tweet or something
seen one episode of the NYE one and I’m not sure I can take another hour of Shirley, strong Carol Vorderman vibes
the rest were great though, fucking love Rylan and now really want to watch Derry Girls
