Iā€™ve gone spiders and here is my reasoning.

I like humans and spiders
Iā€™m not totally comfortable with spiders jumping and crawling all over me
BUT
I reckon trying to fend off humans with human faces trying to eat my brain would be more horrific in reality than spiders doing it (who I kind of suspect would be up for it anyway)

exactly the same here.
thereā€™s also a chance you would know some of the zombies.
maybe even the chances are quite high, in the same way that youā€™re more likely to be killed by your partner than anyone else in the world, except the actual research hasnā€™t been done to prove it with zombies yet.
