I’ve had a rebate for four years. Great stuff. If you’re ever put on the wrong tax code just leave it, pay a bit more every month and get a massive cheque in the spring.

They have a weird habit of coming just when you’re really skint as well. When the last one came i was literally moaning about being skint and then BOOM MOTHERFUNKAZ.

Oh yeah. I’m on a sabbatical from the place you work (as well as at least 3 other current/former DiSers!) but have a friend who works in HR if you want his contact?

I used an online service and opted to include the helpful person who checked it over, hence the price.

I pretty much just picked the first one that came up on their list that I didn’t hate.

Haha no it’s OK. The HR issue I had has been and gone.

I think DOTS meant there were 3 others working there not that they were all on sabbatical.

Just went to pay my tax bill. Nice to see they’ve removed the option to just do a one-off card payment and replaced it with a direct debit which they advise will take 5 working days to set up, so I’ve just about scraped in before the end of the month.

The cynic in me says it’s almost as if they want people to miss the deadline so that they can fine them.
