Ohhh yes please! Very exciting

Arcade Fire did the exact same thing with The Suburbs

It was Everything Now wasn’t it?

Taking up presses for this type of nonsense is unnecessary. 2 vinyl versions, cd and a cassette, that’s it.

Might have done for EN too tbf, I’m not sure. But Suburbs had 8 different cover versions for sure. (Lol why would anyone buy multiple copies of EN anyway)

it was an awful cash grab then, too

So it’s Bon Iver and the National rather than Bright Eyes, but I do feel like I basically spoke this album into being and as such deserve a share of the royalties

Why would anyone buy multiple copies of any album?!

Very excited for this!

Taylor is a brilliant songwriter and everything the dessners are involved with is great - this can’t fail.

feels like an attack on @ttf

Collectors, completists and stans. Wasn’t the 90s very bad for having a different bside on several issues of a single to con you out of ££

in the 90’s it was more about gaming chart position, they were usually discounted to 99p/£1.99 (instead of £3.99) for the first week too, so not as much about the money

correcting myself on this: if you pre-ordered, it was selected at random. take THAT, tuna.

Different pressings/versions I have only ever done it twice for the original wu lyf 12” double a side and Jai Paul BTSTU but, for the Jai Paul one the original still hasn’t turned up because a record that was in the order hasn’t been released yet even over a year later. Need to stop getting angry.

Taylor is like one degree of separation away from Sufjan now, and you know how much our boi loves a good collab album.
