Her songwriting is really laid bare here and it really benefits from it. As Lover is pretty maximalist they actually complement each other really well. I’d only just got into Lover before this came out which is probs why I dug this so quickly. Reckon it might have her most nuanced vocals too.

Get a new highlight each time I put it on, plus it’s equally suited to slow super hot mornings or balmy evenings which means it’s really easy to press play.
