Google Reader

I saw someone doing this in a film or tv show the other day (can’t remember what it was) and when I searched for such an app for my phone it just showed lots of apps to go with fancy sets of weighing scales. So I’m not sure if this is an actual thing yet

I think I saw the same or similar film/TV show a week or so ago and Googled them. There’s a few scales apps (I think).

I pretty sure a download of those apps is one step away from the Dark Web and paying for things using only Bitcoin.

Apple watch.

Nah, use it to put the last one or two eggs from the previous box in when you get the new box.

That’s too sensible, just bin it and waste some eggs

(I am a strict devotee of the float test and therefore do not waste eggs very often, if at all)

You have a Windows phone? Or you mean you’ve put the Edge App (I mean I’m already scared that exists) on your phone?

Anyway, I have to use Edge a fair bit, either because I’m testing out websites where I don’t have the cookies in place from my normal Chrome/Firefox browsing, or because work has some shitty stuff you need Edge for.

Faxes are still in use for some businesses meaning you send them documents via a virtual fax machine software thing.

I really hated faxes when I worked in places that used them. Just achingly slow and then there was the obligatory phone call after to check whether they actually had received everything okay, plus the little print receipt to file away (even though it would probably have faded to nothing in a few months).

I had a pager c. 1998! Basically I wasn’t going to get a mobile phone because not only were they contract-only in those days but having one at the time was really just saying you were either a Tory or a drug dealer. You could buy a simple number-only pager for £40 though: people dialled a premium number and they then entered a phone number for you to call and that was that. Primitive but effective for some situations.

Yep! Got the app on my iPhone
It’s genuinely really useful for studying, have the app on my android tablet too. Just ping the webpages from one device to another.

Haha I was being facetious about fax- I used it in my first job too!

I tried out one of those 3d tvs in a shop once and nearly fell over on the floor. Turns out they are very not compatible with astigmatism. I don’t even have bad eyesight, just need glasses for reading, so god knows what it would do to someone with a stronger prescription than me.

That’s cool. I had assumed you could do that with Chrome but never really looked into it as if it happens I just copy the URL to GOogle Keep.

Oh maybe? I’m not sure!
It’s just really useful to me cause all of my devices are different (apple, windows and android) and edge connects them all.
