It’s the capital city of Portugal.
Called Lisboa in Portuguese
Same time zone as London.

Go and get pissed on cheap booze at bairro alto

cerveteca lisboa is the best craft beer pub

The Oceanarium was good

Football is cheap as fuck, was about a tenner to get into a benfica match

Get the train to the coast and see where aleister crowley faked his death

Lovely place. Go to bairro alto, the drinks are cheap the food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Portugal you say? hmmm

I can’t really go to the old site now though, it crashes my machine

Oh. I thought you meant that you couldn’t search it.

As a child I hated egg tarts but now I understand that they are soooooooooooooooooooooooo nice. They are possibly one of my favourite things in the bun category. I had one the other day, it was as you’d expect.

It seems to be once I’ve loaded a page or two. It doesn’t matter so much.

Portuguese custard tarts (pasta de natas) are a totally different beast to the terrible egg custard tarts we have here.

The ones at that famous shop in Belem mentioned above are an absolute marvel. Just astonishingly constructed.

Thought Lisbon a tad overrated when I went. Decent city and no denyin’ but I can’t see myself ever going back.

thankfully it’s only the one trip i’ve booked so far

Differing opinions to mine are both available and prevalent.

There’s a statue to Stacey Solomon in the Praça do Comércio.
