On the plus side, it is notably easier to get excellent tickets, for a better price, than it is for Wimbledon.

They were saying, although not sure I believe they, that it’s a sell out every day but most people prefer swanning around the grounds instead.

Although as per marckee’s point it would be exactly the same at Wimbledon if you didn’t have to sell a kidney to get a seat on the showcourts.

That wouldn’t surprise me. The French Open also has many more tickets that are bought in blocks by agents, so technically it does sell out, but not necessarily to the people who go to watch the matches.

Aye that’s the thing wimbledon does a really good job of making sure its tickets are bought by people who actually attend. + they have the resale kiosk for seated tickets which is pretty good, dunno if rolly g has anything similar

But there are still loads of people who just go there to drink Pimms. It’s just that if they’ve spent both kidneys on their Centre Court tickets they’re a bit less likely to just go and sit on Aarongi.
