This really is the year of Basement Jaxx (DJ Set) isn’t it? Do Basement Jaxx/Cast/Starsailor’s booking agents just go “yes they’ll do anything this year”?

I have a friend who would almost certainly go to this festival just for that alone. I’m not going to tell him and subject him to the rest of that lineup.

What bugs me about this Britpop festival thing is that there were some great bands and many terrible ones. I always thought The Bluetones were great, but these days they’re hitching themselves to pretty much any bill that’ll have them. I get why they do it, I just wish that they (and a select few others) still existed on a level where they could just carry on in their own right

You see legions of mustard coloured hoodies at any Scottish festival, they’ve got a weird cult following up here. They’re absolutely terrible.

20 years ago it would have been the local ‘60s night’.

A Courteeners tribute band? Dear me.

At least they get a tribute act. Nobody wanted to be Clint Boon.

Sorry if this has already been posted only skimmed the thread but don’t know if this line up is amazing or terrible. What I’m most integued about is who the average punter would be for it

This might be the strangest festival line up I’ve ever seen. Slayer, Stormzy and Bonnie Tyler, together at last.

I’m wonder if Bonnie Tyler is there as a sort of total eclipse of the heart/summer solace pun

Would love it if it was a Clint Boon DJ set tribute act.
