Seriously Emma, THIS is what you want?

Get ready for four more years of Trump.

(Not sure why the thumbnail didn’t show up but it’s about tea. Done terribly.)

I mean the amount of sugar is crazy and they clearly don’t own a kettle, but they are making Lipton’s iced tea, not a cup of regular tea

Yeah not sure about this one. Nobody ever had iced tea before? Thought the ‘hate crime’ bit was about everyone saying ‘i fucking hate americans’ in the comments, apparently not…

It’s just the amount of sugar I was taken aback by.

Maybe also as I’m not used to iced tea being presented in actual teabags.

Is sweet tea different to iced tea?

I don’t know. But some of the defenders are saying this is how they make sweet tea themselves

It’s just too sweet. There seems to be too much sugar in everything in America. Even the salt.

It seems to just be iced tea with sugar added - I make iced tea by cold brewing, but I would assume you need to use hot water for this so the sugar dissolves properly

“I say, my good man, do you know where I might purchase some drugs?”

Fucking hell :grimacing:

More fool me for looking at the comments…but it is staggering that some people in Belfast see no issue with the phrase “turn Belfast orange” (apart from those would actually go on an Orange walk, of course)

I have to admit I don’t get this, but I’m not from the UK/Ireland

Its not something you necessarily SHOULD know…particularly when you’re not from the UK, but it is striking when people from Belfast are ignorant to the wider implications

I have no idea either

As a tan I’m no doubt poorly placed to explain this, but “Orange” in Northern Ireland is intrinsically linked with Unionism / Protestants - you’ve probably heard of Orangemen / marches:

So the idea of turning Belfast orange implies stamping out Catholicism / republicanism, the already marginalised minority group in the country.

(Apologies to all the Irish DiSsers if I’ve fucked this up)
