There used to be a “lifestyle” website called The Band Wife run by the wife of a musician in a christian rock band. You can imagine what that was like. I used to look at it in horror.

I looked it up just now to link, but she’s thankfully seemed to focus on interior design instead these days.

Oh god.

Similar thing happened with my sister and brother in law’s dog they accidentally locked the cat in the house while they took the dog for a walk and it unaccountably shat on their bed. They went to get the cleaning stuff and came back and the poo was gone. The dog was around and this is the only explanation they have for its disappearance.

I used to work in conveyancing and the number of professional landlords we dealt with who had this exact business model/theory was truly depressing. I always felt a bit deflated when I’d get another London-area client’s file buying a property in Derby or Bradford which they would likely never go within 50 miles of.
