I’ve got one of these:

Reluctantly tried one last week after wifey bought a load of 'em and they’re actually quite nice.

@Epimer

Could go a fish and chips in the canteen actually. Gonna fight the temptation though and have my noodle thing though after indulging in the beef pepperpot stew yesterday.

Yesterday I had a Scotch Egg and some green beans because every other option had milk in it.

Great stuff.

Got a salad with all the things I love in it: bacon, avocado, tomatoes, pine nuts, grand padano and a balsamic glaze. Yum! Then got some pots of healthy stuff to graze on.

update: had tacos, one chicken, one veggie, they were very very good

with a “cherry cheesecake” for pudding

the food here is SO GOOD

Pizza.

Margherita, obviously.

Went to Leon. Had some sweet potato and okra stew thing. It was alright, but as I do with any lunch that isn’t a burrito, I immediately regretted not getting a burrito.

Bowl of lentil soup and a pack of chicken and stuffing sarnies from Sainsbo’s

Had my Singapore noodles thingy. For something labelled as ‘mild’, it’s surprisingly spicy and tasty. Sat on my tod in the canteen with a coffee now. Got a Gold bar waiting down in the office for me.

Went for a Balls Brothers lunch, couple of Vedett IPAs, lovely jubbly.

One of these has just opened up next to my office, didn’t realise they did Vedett. Is the food any good?

Pretty deese. Had spinach and stilton gnocchi.

I’m sold. Still wish people would stop putting the word “balls” in their bar/restaurant names though. Walked past Balls & Company in Soho the other day and no matter how good the food is I have no intention of going there. Balls.
