His entrance took so long that they had to cut it short apparently so he had to condense his promo down to a couple mins as they werent allowed to overrun on tv.

Just watched NXT. So much better than Raw. Enjoyed all the matches more than I did Raw. All of the wrestlers seemed more exciting too. Raw had so much faffing about in comparison. There’s like 1000 women wrestlers which I’m not used to. Used to be the same 2 or 3 having lingerie matches when I last watched. Obviously it’s much better now but finding it hard to distinguish between them when they all dress like bad guys from Batman. The Rock was the worst part.
Excited for Smackdown now, used to be my favourite show when I was younger, not sure why, think it just used to have my favourite wrestlers

Yeah, NXT was great. Well, the first hour with all the women’s matches was anyway. Guilia vs Roxanne was awesome, NA title contender match was great and the 6 man tag was a lot of fun.
What wasn’t fun was The Rock and the men’s title match. Right winner because Oba is fucking great, but Trick is kinda boring in the ring and you could tell both he and Oba are still a little green when it comes to main eventing. Taking out Eddy Thorpe before was a mistake as he has the chops that the other two could have fed off.
Looking forward to seeing what kind of run Oba is gonna go on now
Amazing how thin skinned The Rock is that despite being the most famous man in wrestling, he felt the need to respond to a load of terminally online wrestling nerds with a bad on air promo.

Found Malakai a true disappointment to be honest. Awesome look, great aura - but his style’s all flash with no actual story, especially the kickboxing that looks like it hurts but also somehow looks bad. Nice finisher though tbf.
Worst of all his promos are fucking dull, meaningless word salad.

Internet discourse about him killing the heat between potential Reigns/Rhodes stories with his Raw appearance.
He was my favourite in NXT and always enjoyed his matches there, so if he can rediscover that energy, i’ll be happy.
The thing I want most though is his music without that fucking coffin creaking sound Vince added at the beginning. Awful.

I’ve always kinda liked him but he’s had one foot out of the door since Tri took over. His initial run with Cody was great but since back got fucked up and he’s barely done a singles match since. I can’t remember a single one tbh. And I like the House of Black a lot but since AEW forgot the trios division is a thing there’s not much point in them.
Coolest entrance in the game too. I’ll miss Amenra blasting out every now and again.
Brody and Buddy will be better off as singles wrestlers (if they can somehow navigate the million wrestler logjam in the men’s division), though I’d love it if they got a run with the tag belts as unstoppable monster champs for a bit. Might resuscitate that dead ass division for a bit.
Julia’s development is probably the best thing that’s come from Malakai joining tbh.

Yep, have never really trusted a word he says but especially post Hollywood, but then that’s what made Hollywood Rock so fucking good
They really ran their course with the trios belts, they beat everyone. It was a decent run though, usually a reliable match on any ppv. Acclaimed/HoB at Wembley was a great moment.
It was always let down by Malakai’s monologues though. Agree on Julia too, weirdly be the end he was outshone by every member of his own stable.
If he does leave, he had put over Adam Cole last Nov when Cole randomly beat them all upon returning but he should really do a job to Buddy or Brodie first.

His monologues in the Cody fued were pretty compelling tbf. Got me very excited for his future. But he never had the same kind of focus with the House. The vignettes always looked great and I kept waiting for the concept to click. But yeah it was like he was using some kind of online Ominous Phrase Generator.
I would love to see Brodie slap him (or anyone) silly.
Brodie/Julia is absolutely what I want, with each of them in the others corner for singles runs.
