I worked with him for a few months when Love Hope Strength Foundation were recording The Scriptures and he was one of the nicest fellas I’ve ever crossed paths with. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious. I got to go down to Abbey Road to watch some of the parts being recorded and spend some time with all the folks involved, including Mike and his wife, and everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was so positive. Just a really, genuinely inspirational guy, and his attitude to life has stuck with me ever since. RIP

Played a show with him once in about 2006/7. Just a lovely man.
