Not trying to defend Sugar as he doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt after the racist tweets he’s done and his constant digs at Diane Abbott, but it’s worth remembering that last year’s winner was a black woman so I don’t think sheer racism is the whole story

They’re obviously keeping in Thomas, Lottie and the Harrods one cos they’re good telly, and most of the others are expendable

Baffling how Dean is still in, guess like others have said it’s probably cos he hasn’t had a crack at being PM yet

Haven’t seen this week’s episode, but usually by this point he’s firing people who haven’t been PM for “hiding”

The whole thing’s been skewed since they introduced the business plan concept - ultimately he’ll have a good idea before the show started which plans he likes the look of and who he wants in the final five, so the firings often reflect that.
