They’ve had bad luck, but it does seem like they’ve done some weird booking over the last year or two. They’ve already used two of their biggest long term payoffs - Naito and Ibushi, and arguably didn’t get that much out of either. Wonder if it’ll go back on the nearest available foreign heel or if it’s Okada’s time to shine (again).

Yeah they’ve really struggled with their booking at the top of the card over the pandemic. Having Ibushi unify the belts one minute and take them off him the next seems even more bonkers now. I’m intrigued to see what they do next - they do at least, sadly, have plenty of time to think about it.
