Peace and love and tinnies

I voted cider here and would love to come to Devon for a cider party.

This is the best cider I’ve had recently. So crisp.

For value, availability and taste as a whole Tyskie should storm this

Going to be Budvar with an easy win though because it reminds everyone of their very indie inter railing trip. Overrated imho

Hang your heads in shame

Do like a Tyskie but I reckon its popularity is mostly down to being the only Polish lager the Brits can pronounce the name of. Zyweic is nicer but I’ve no idea how to ask for it.

Beer please!

See when it was available in my old local they got a bunch of beermats on which claimed it was pronounced something like zhivyets.

Reckon the Polish are trolling us on this.

The Dirk Kuyt of beers.

Forgot Keo. Keo is nice.

I thought we’d agreed to keep Sun Kil Moon out of these threads?

Never. I’m sure there’s a Koz song about being on tour in the Czech Republic, trying to hit on girls, moaning about guys in tennis shoes wanting his records on vinyl and discussing the differences between Budvar and Kozel

GROUP STAGE POLLS WILL CLOSE AT 11AM

You can get an drinkable pint of lager anywhere in the world but it’s pretty difficult to find a decent cider outside the UK. The French and Spanish habit of serving it in wine bottles (and too sweet) automatically disqualifies them.

If I can’t get a pint of Addlestones when I’m back I’ll at least try and grab a can of Strongbow!

It’s just so artificial tasting though. Thatchers or equivalent is widely available now and far better.
