- I save the best bite for last
- I do not monitor quality of bites within a meal
- The best bite includes bits of everything on the meal
- The best bite is my favorite specific meal component
I’ve left out people who recognise there is a Best Bite but have it at the beginning of the meal as that seems perverted in some sense.
The Best Bite is a practice I only engage in when eating a fry-up, outside of that I’m just wolfing everything down without a care in the world.
The Best Bite varies, but if there’s something on my plate I’m not as keen on, I’ll eat that first.
Not a fan of different components in one mouthful for most stuff unless it supposed to be like curry or whatever.
Find the thought of a forkful of like sausage and mash and peas or something very displeasing
Can’t really know until you’ve had every bite
I had a bag of beef hula hoops with my lunch, and I opened up the bag so I could eat them with a roughly increasing quantity of flavouring on each crisp, saving the most flavoursome for last
Best bit of a chicken roast is when you got nothing left but stuffing and pigs in blankets (don’t limit them to christmas in my family), all soaked in gravy
- Integrated component dishes still have mini components, such as crusts on a sandwich/pizza, pastry v filling, and therefore a ‘‘Best Bite’’
- This level of introspection can lead only to ruin
Consider the filled doughnut also. The first bite is also the best bite on a non-negotiable basis, but it can render the whole thing useless if you dont get enough jam. A real gamble.
I seek out the hole
also the first sip of a can of coke. the rest might as well be sewage.
From bite one?
Yeah I think I might be the same, definitely try to manage a fry up so that I’m left with one of the best bites to finish with, but with dinner I will often wolf down the best component entirely early on.
Surprised by the amount of effort people seem to put into getting a bit of everything on their fork, an absolute faff imo.
The Best Bite of a fry-up is multi layered. Foundation is fried bread, a thin but noticeable layer of baked bean, and then your chewiest component upon the top. Usually your sausage/substitute of choice.
Sure
I seek out the hole from bite one is a funny sentence imo
