It wasn’t tbh. The TV didn’t dilate from admittance to Labour ward to 9hrs later, so actually made perfect sense. Was amazing how quick that went though. From making the decision to having it done was like 15mins.

That’s good. Do you know how many days she’ll have to stay in hospital? Are you able to stay as well?
A minimum of 24hrs, but they aren’t classing today. So Tuesday morning maybe. I’ll stay until late evening, but it’s only a chair for me, and actually, our midwife said it’ll be more beneficial if I stay home and rest in the evenings, as I’ll be able to take over when the TV gets home and begins to rest.

Yeah hoping it’s sooner rather than later. The TV is about two months out of the enchanted by the miracle of new life stage and deep in to the grotesque David Cronenberg, sleepless body horror spectacle where every movement wears her out, makes her need to pee, wakes up the baby who wriggles and punches for an hour or all of the above. It’s a magical time!
