I did like how the video for Highways had Steve from These Arms and Andrea from PGMG

I think the feeling is, Jordan and Johnny should sing together, it just works so well.

Big into them around the Easter album, absolutely boss live. Another “no-one sounds like them” band.

This thread reminds me that a few years back I found Johnny’s LinkedIn page and he was working as a designer at Netflix.

Saw them a few times back in the day - amazing band. Loved the two singers climbing on each other’s shoulders mid-song when they played live - chaos

Before I knew who these where I missed them at Leeds festival to see Bloc Party or someone like that, which makes me wince.

As mentioned above the amount of depth in these songs is so satisfying. Wish more bands had dual singers done as effectively as this. The closest thing to them that I can think of is Dananananaykroyd.

Gunna try and make a playlist of my top 10 tracks. Think it might be heavy with album openers…

jamming piano island for the first time in … i don’t even know. maybe a decade. great obviously but a few things really caught me off guard. how fucking good is denver max? ripped my bollocks off.

Fond memories of seeing them a few times 2006-07, seem to recall them playing Territorial Pissings with Liars at a Camber ATP

Me too. First time I heard that band they blew my mind. Only saw them once on their last uk tour, but they were amazing. Russian Cirlces were supporting so big respect to Brian Cook for playing two great sets in one evening

I saw that! It was at Star and Garter in Manc was ace

I love Jordan’s solo bit on Six Nightmares, it sounds so sinister then it just bursts

Saw them play a couple of club shows around Easter that were absolute fire. Steve bouncing in and out of the crowd. That tour they were closing with crazy woman dirty train and it was so caningly good every time.

That sounds fucking amazing! Wish I’d seen them around that time - Easter’s probably my favourite album of theirs.

As an aside, I can’t think of another singer whose name fits them more perfectly than Steve Snere. Nominative determinism!

Fine, thanks for checking. He didn’t pierce my skin: just clamped his teeth round my wrist. Like a naughty kitten. This was shortly after he’d stuffed loads of rolled up paper up his t shirt .

good gig tbf
