So they can export Scandi Noir everywhere.

Snow reflects light so they are needed less in winter.

Just rewatched S3 E10.
Appetite now suitably whetted.

YES!

Everything.

Goes back to the beginning.

Seconding Borgen. One of my very favourites.

I generally struggle to be arsed about murder-based stuff. But I’d say Shetland is dead good.

And on a @bugduv / All 4 / Walter Presents tip, The Out-Laws is also good.

(None of these are straight-up scandi-noir, I suppose, but worth checking out.)

I’m not sure if this was meant to be a reply to me, I’ve never seen Borgen, although my partner loves it.

However, the last series of Shetland was one of the best things I’ve seen on the telly in ages, the creepy Biffy Clyro man was a fantastic character

Ach, no. Was meant as a reply to Noah, seconding he_2.

Will be watching on catch up. Prolly Sunday night, seeing as it’s Eurovision tomorrow night.

Might also watch Salamander. The last series was quite good.

Season 4 isn’t on iplayer is it? (I mean the whole series)

I enjoyed episode one last night. I love The Bridge. Saga is clearly ok after being stabbed in the neck otherwise it would be series over!

:joy:
Shortest series ever

S1-3 are all on iPlayer but it looks like S4 episodes will be added as they are broadcast on Beeb2

Yeah that’s what I thought. On one hand it’s a shame as i would definitely binge watch it, but maybe it’ll be nice to look forward to it each week, like the old days!

Ep2
Now we’ve started :grinning:
I like the idea of ‘Panic-attack’ Saga
Oh and - they obviously meant to kill that twin rather than his brother, right?

YAY, batshit theory time:

I think the twin mix-up is misdirection - it’s a revenge hit for scaring that little girl in hospital.
Also, I reckon those two runaway girls might be Henrik’s daughters.
First victim’s husband had a PI tracking her and now he’s asking them to investigate the murder
.

Latest batshit theory

The gated community thing is behind it all - they’re punishing bad people because the system doesn’t. Weirdy Frank is training moody teen-boy ready for the Firing Squad kill.
Something will happen to almost kill Henrik, which will make Saga realise that she wants to be with him and their child.
RightWingNobheadCop will do something heroic to save an immigrant and probably die.

think the weird girl who plays dress up is behind everything as she becomes the characters she’s playing (this theory is based entirely on having watched the recent film paddington 2)

I’m all caught up now. Whizzed through S3.

if there’s one thing I’ve learned - it’s that all the characters we meet in the first half of the series are largely irrelevant* by the conclusion

It’s all smokescreen and misdirection
