It was as you would imagine inside. The clientele were mostly over 45 and the carpet was sticky.

More earnestly, I have wasted a staggering amount of both nights and money having a disappointing time at nightclubs in the Herts/Bucks area between the ages of 16-18, and then in Liverpool from 18-21

Colchester had the hippodrome. Only ever went to it for an underage night in that guise before it was changed to a liquid. Never went after the name change because I was a hippodrome loyalist and generally scared by coked up squaddies
