I wouldn’t worry too much there’s no way anybody english is good enough or fun enough to be in the top 20

For your FYI: only one of my top 10 (actually no.10) is from GB

She’s fucking brilliant btw.

Only one of my 20 was from GB, and that was Stephen Hendry, bizarrely.

Top 40 on Friday

Actually will be stopping in a while for tea so let’s get more done.

If you need to stop we can talk about how wrestling’s a sport some more.

Nice that there’s still room for comedy in this dark world

Nah nothing weird about it. People chose different approaches to their definition of top sportspeople. Some went for greatest of all time and that. Fair enough if you want to type out Ali, Bradman etc. etc. it’s a free country. Personally I picked a list of sportspeople whose careers I’ve engaged with during my life and since I’m English a lot of them are English (None of my top three were mind).

And anyone suggesting people pick Kenny based on just winning medals for Great Britain have clearly never really watched her compete or heard her talk.

Bit of a blemish on her record having that controversial decision against Persoon and refusing to do a rematch imo. She’s bloody good and great for the sport though.
