No, I don’t think so. My brand is too entrenched now.

figured it was sopranos but without the funny bits

Sopranos is better.

I’m a Cyborg but that’s OK is one of the most weidest experiences you can have watching a film, properly heartwarming too

I think about the sequence in Thirst where vampires are hiding under the car about once a week.

If I had the time and money I’d have a poster made of every final shot in a Park Chan-Wook movie. The man knows how to end a film.

I don’t think it’s a film that suffers from that problem, though I’ve thought that myself about plenty of stuff before

Thought oldboy was great but The Handmaiden for me was just stunning.

Oldboy is a remarkable film.

Feel Stoker goes under the radar but that was good too

My Letterboxd watchlist is bulging, BULGING.

The version before that (plain old Redux?) has a shorter version of the plantation scene and that’s OK. But yeah, the last version was de trop with les Francais.

Yeah I’m glad to have seen the different versions, but Redux was the best balanced for me

Stoker’s the worst of that list by a fair margin and it’s still pretty good. Good to see he made the top 10.

Where’s Finian’s Rainbow?

The BFI did an occasional series called Epiphanies, where a film maker or actor would introduce a film that inspired them/made them want to be in films/etc. I saw Redux as introduced by Toby Jones, who cheerfully admitted he’d seen the original cut but not Redux, so he chose the latter because it would be cool to have his first viewing on a big screen.
