When you closing voting for this?!
I’ve decided that, when someones mentions and author with 0 points, I am obliged to post ITT announcing just that. Dan Brown is the first one (mentioned properly, anyway).
Please don’t get silly, though
Sunday evening.
I’ve actually read this ha
Read at the titles and thought ‘hmm, she looks right up my street’. Yep, already got a few of her books on my to-read list.
I haven’t seen the film but apparently the plot is very different from the source material.
Does that mean someone voted for Steve Bruce?!?
I’ve only read under the skin and THA99S which was such a snooze fest it has put me off reading anything of his again. Under the skin was good though.
I’ve read some books by Homer, Becky Chambers, Jim Dodge, Angela Carter, and Michael Faber, so I’m temporarily at 50% so far! Jim Dodge was on my long list, solely because of Stone Junction, which is an excellent book.
Didn’t remember what it was called. Why was I so sure it was a ham!?
Sorry, only started doing this after Dan Brown. Bruce is also part of the 0 club.
I think I saw the film before I read the book of Under The Skin. The book was definitely more accessible than the film, but it was still a bit of a head fuck. Enjoyed it but I’ve not read any else by Faber yet. Will pick up the top rated from poll

Ooh, I need to read some Robin Hobb sometime.
Norwegian translation took liberties with the source material?
No. 89 Fyodor Dostoevsky
It’s wonder wny anyone still remembers him, what with there being 88 better writers in this list alone…
Phew! Team Beard is back in the game
This is an honest group of people, and nobody honest has finished a book of his.
