The ratio of good to bad is so skewed as well. Hundreds of thousands of bad films versus maybe two good films.

This is true of most mediums though, think about how much bad music there is.

(I should know, having participated in much of it)

And there’s entire genres of if, like jazz. Most film genres still have good ones, but there’s no good jazz.

But even with shitty music I never go “yeah but it’s just a song”, something about films make me do that
