For completeness, a sixth game should be nominated in position 6, which is “best live service/on going game”. You pick what you think that means, see eligibility below. If your favourite on-going game was also released in 2024, remember to place it twice, once in the top five (in the position for 2024) and in sixth place to be counted for on-going title. Just to be clear it does not have to have been released in 2024.
Eligibility rules
the game must have been released at some point between 1st January 2024 and the end of voting in December 2024. Note, there is no rush - there are still some large December 2024 releases that are eligible, and you can change your vote - just flag it in the post as tallying won’t be done until after voting has ended.
all releases count, including expansions, remasters, remakes, and ports to a new platform
Early Access games also count as long as they have been released on a platform this year without Beta requirements.
on-going games could be anything, from Overwatch 2 to OpenRCT2. You chose.
Voting starts today, 27th November 2024 and ends on 31st December 2024, with results in the dead zone between Christmas and new year.
I will vote publicly for my own in this thread and once all votes are counted the spreadsheet can be shared for transparency.

Thank goodness you’re here was fine. Arranger hit and miss. Interaction isn’t explicit a quirky concept. Downloaded Animal Well and Hellblade 2 but haven’t played either yet.
Does Strands count? That was good.
Enjoyed two remasters a lot this year in TLOU 2 and Tomb Raider. But the first is such a minor upgrade apparently, bar the cut scenes and rogue like mode, and Tomb Raider was good but just the same game.
