can’t see Forest - Millwall or Sunderland - Derby dinging many hums, but use this thread to make bold predos for the season and to analyse the weekend’s domestic professional soccer action

Villa - Hull & @Aggpass - @Severed799 probably the picks tomorrow

#2

1 - 0 @Aggpass

#3

wrong, the team I support will actually lose this fixture!

#4

Yes but it’s Norwich at Craven Cottage :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

#5

WE’RE GOING UP (actually quite fortuitous set of opening fixtures tbf - beginning with Burton away tomorrow, very optimistic we can get a good start)

#6

Hey now!

Yeah, you’re probably right. Burton have just lost one of their best players to injury for the season. Will be a tough ask to stay in the Championship for another season, but it’s been fun (and last year was an extraordinary achievement).

#7

I often enjoy watching the first night of the Football League season - particularly with another week of pre-season action in NW9.

Might find a quiet space to watch something this evening.

#8

Nil-nil written all over it. Best league in the world!

#9

Guarantee that Arsenal win the charity shield

Be sort of kinda good if they don’t though and we can just start the season continuing to laugh at them (if we ignore who would actually win it otherwise which I feel confident we can do).

#12

Nobody else thinking 'Boro? Amount they’re spending is embarrassing.

#13

already half the teams in the league have votes #bestleagueintheworld

#14

Yes but I really hope they embarrass themselves tbh

#15

What am I missing re: Villa? @TKC

#16

Big budget, good championship level manager, started looking good last year at points, incredibly brave new centre half

#17

Who else have they signed? Terry is well past it (and still a cunt)

#18

Great signing that Chris Bamba.

#19

so, so brave though

#20

Oh Colin…

:joy:
